Your guide is an expert and country specific, i.e. you will have a Kenya guide in Kenya and Tanzania guide in Tanzania. Follow his advice and ask questions if you are unsure of anything – they have grown up in Africa and knows it inside and out.
Road safaris take place in custom built open 4×4 safari vehicles generally used on safari, provide comfort with maximum visibility and protection. The vehicles accommodate a maximum of 7 to 8 travellers, which is also fitted with a pop-up roof to maximize on game viewing!
The most common aircraft types used for charter work are Cessna 206 or 210 and Cessna 208 Caravans. Slightly larger aircraft are often used in East Africa, but luggage is still restricted.
