Very similar to Kenya, Tanzania gained it’s independence in 1964. It has not benefited from the same growth and popularity as Kenya. However, Tanzania’s highlights are equal if not surpasses Kenya. Including the Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater and Kilimanjaro all within a stone throw from Nairobi. Let’s not forget the rustic and wilder Selous, Ruaha, Kitavi, Gombe Stream and Mahale National Parks!
